School after World Cup

Watched the World Cup finals in the morning
It ended at around 5.30am
The match ended at 5am
I stayed up to watch the celebration and the trophy presentation
This happens once every four years ma,so must see
PLUS,it's Spain who won the World Cup(if you didnt already knew)

Luckily,there wasnt any lectures today,if not i would have dozed off

Last week,i tried watching the 2.30am match before going to school
I swore i could have fallen asleep during the lectures
And many times i felt my hand losing grip of the pen
This woke me up...luckily

Ran 5km for PE today
<2hours of sleep+5km run=want to die after PE

Could have started walking after the first km if not for Zi Han and Buan Heng
Somehow there was this mentality and motivation to keep up with their pace
Managed to sustain until the 3rd km before walking
Willpower's important

A level chinese oral was today
Totally didnt prepared anything
It was the same for O level oral in which i got distinction :D
Reading aloud wasnt that good
A few words see before but cannot really pronounce
I think my conversation not bad
The teacher only asked 3 questions and the teacher try to stop/interrupt me for my answer on the first question
Oo...the topic's online shopping
They asked about my online shopping experience
I didnt have any...
Luckily,i remembered Zi Xuan :D

First Time

It's was my first time sleeping over at a friend's house
Something my parents will strongly disapprove if not for the World Cup
Kai Yuan invited a few of us(Lester,Adrian,Bun and Jonny) over to watch the titanic clash between Germany and Argentina
This was supposed to be an exciting match between two favourites in the competition
However,it was a match largely dominated by the Germans
4-0!!!
Total domination!
Argentina did scored but it was ruled offside
That part was funny as four of the Argentina players were in offside positions when the free kick was taken
FOUR players!!!
Very epic...i'll try to find the video

It was 0000hr when the match ended
Was supposed to go home but decided to stay for the Spain-Paraguay match

So during the 2hr break between the two matches,we decided to play...
RISK!!!
Yes!The board game...
Quite a weird thing for 6 guys to play in the late hours
You would expect us to be playing cards...
The pro land and the cursed land(HAHA...inside joke)

Spain vs Paraguay match wasnt that exciting
Two penalties were given to both Paraguay and Spain in the span of one minute
The goalkeeper from both sides manage to save their respective penalty
Stalement till Villa scored :D
That was the only goal in the whole match
The win by Spain wasnt really convincing though

So after the match,we were all reluctant to sleep
Crowded around Kai Yuan's laptop to stalk people on Facebook :D
I think Facebook stalking is fun
Sometimes you get to know additional informations or some 'dark secrets'
HEHEHEHE...

Chit-chatted about lots of things
Talked about the things that happened in XMS
All those memories...
Sometimes it's good to get together and talked about the old times

At around 7am we all decided to take a nap

Went to Compass Point Mac to have our breakfast
There was this Breakfast Deluxe(first time seeing)
Basically,it's an amalgamation of Hotcakes and the Big Breakfast
Just that you get only 2 hotcakes

Went home and slept for several hours in the afternoon

It was fun staying over and watching soccer with my friends
Shouting together whenever someone shouts
The echo of 'HENG AR' when someone fails to score against the team you're supporting

Soccer...a chance you get to see guys shout their lungs out

End of Term 3 Week 1

After the events that happened this week...
I realised i've got lots of things i need to do

No point...should have gotten A...

Surprising that's my best H2 subject

Was supposed to be my best subject
Really no time to finish

One factor-NO TIME!!!

No idea what they want in the answer

Yes i did pass but just barely
A lot more work to do...at least 55 points by promos???

Next,CCA
I was busy settling matters for CCA
CIP,Exco meeting,Hall duty & CCA session
I got so many things to settle cause my president wasnt in school for the whole week
After holding the first CCA session on my own,i realised there's a lot of problem within the CCA
Need to have a nice talk with Xin Yi when he's back
Exco meeting is essential

I find myself changing...
Yes it's sudden but it's for the better,it's for my own good

Davis' Theorem

Davis' Theorem states that as the date tends to 11th of July,the difference between the value of World Cup and the value of school becomes greater.The result and the enjoyment of the late night/early morning match is directly proportional to the level of energy in school.

Equation:

First day back at school

...ERM...NO FEELING

Nothing much changed after the holidays
Just getting back to the normal routine before the hols

Kian Chang and Su Hui said my hair was nice :D
Finally got a nice hairstyle
Everytime i look at my photos,i will look at my hair
Finally something satisfactory

Then Wong You said i grew taller...
After taking height and weight during PE lesson,i concluded i havent grew

Somehow Shawn was googling for the PW links and found my blog
So i shall update since he said i havent been updating my blog recently
Wonder how he found it on Google O.O

Dont know why i so high today
Maybe cause havent been seeing many people for a long time
I'm sure that energy will go down as time passes,with all the homeworks and the tests

World Cup is a good excuse for not doing homework :D

FINALLY BACK FROM THE CAMP!!!

It changed my definition of the word 'leader'
It's not just about making decisions and giving orders to the others
It's more like leading them by example and insiring people of a common goal
Walk the talk and not just talk

Day 1

LECTURES AND MORE LECTURES IN THE HALL...

Plus,learning how to sing the school musical song - "Reach for the stars"
I think the song's not bad

Couldnt sleep at all
Maybe i did sleep for awhile but whenever i woke up in the middle of the night,i dont even felt like i slept
My head hurts as i didnt have a pillow
Maybe that was also why i couldnt sleep well

Ate two boxes of lunch and one box of dinner
Night snack was bread with Kaya
So wanted to eat it but no one on the group was hungry
Gave it a pass though :C

Day 2

Woke up at around 5.30 caused i couldnt really sleep
Chit-chatted with Aaron cause he couldnt sleep as well

Then,news about people getting food poisoning spread throughtout the whole camp
Our whole group was discussing what could have caused the food poisoning
Apparently,we couldnt pinpoint one
There were like 10++ people with food poisoning so it's definitely caused by the food from the food supply
Had two portions of dinner and nothing happened to me
HEHE!!!My stomach pro

My buddy had food poisoning...and went home
I remembered the teachers saying "to take care of your buddy" at the start of camp
I never take good care of my buddy...

Not my fault right,it's with the food

So for all breakfast,lunch and dinner,i took care of Andrew's share of food :D
A full man is a happy man(that's me)

Today was more fun with all the scenarios training
Had lots of laugh while people were acting out the scenarios
Sometimes,it will go way off course and the teacher needed to bring us back

Didnt bathe for the day
Decided to use my towel as a pillow
Super comforable compared to no pillow

Scared Buan Heng about the 20km run before going the bed

Day 3

Can't disclose much because of the "Leader's promise"
So there was lots of physical activity involved
Something like playing "Suvivor - SRJC" but with no immunity
What's Survivor without the tribal council,right?
Yes,there was one
And the teachers scare us but telling us if we cannot go through the challenge we will be exiled-dropped from Aspire Camp
And that means no more leadership role
That was bull**** lo(is that a bad word???)

Guess it taught us determination and perservance

Then there was this ceremony to close the whole camp
We were presented with our "WHITE SHIRT" *holy music*
Took photos with the group people before going home

Day Three changed me the most
Did a lot of thinking about what a leader should be and what i could be in the future
Guess my biggest weakness is my lack of sense of urgency
Sometimes i wonder if my mum gave birth to me
:P KIDDING!!!
She's like the total opposite of me
...I think i got the gene from my dad
