Holiday already?

Didnt realise holiday started until like NOW
...because i went back to school today...for PW
And i'll be going back to school for the rest of the week
I think playing time's over
PW so many things to do
Things arent going the way i expected it to be but i dont know why it's like this

There's always the calm before the storm

I dont want it to come too but if the road leads to the storm then so be it

Nike

Went to the Nike factory outlet at West Coast Mall
It was a long journey to the west
Was too engrossed in watching my One Piece such that i didnt take note of the time

Saw many schools on the way there
Schools like CJC,Nau Hua Sec and NUS

When i saw the Nike store,i was like...speechless
WOW was all i could say
Furthermore,i swore i could have fainted when i went to the sports section
SO MANY SOCCER SHOES!!!
MADNESS!!!

Could have bought everything XD

Prices were slashed there
Example:Arsenal 08/09 away jersey $24.90
Couldnt find any Man U jersey there :C
Mercurial Steam with studs was only $39.90
That's super cheap!!!

Bought a pair of Nike Tiempo cause my mum said my schools shoes from secondary shoes are tearing
So now i got 4 pairs of Nike soccer shoes
1 studded,3 flat
Plus,i havent wore the silver T90 i bought a few months ago
Dont feel like getting my 'wives' dirty...

Tiring

Spent the whole day out yesterday
It was tiring but it was fun to be with my friends

First was PW at Compass Point BK
Tiffany,Elisha and Kian Chang crashed out PW meeting
Nothing much was done though
We had our lunch at Mac before i ps them to find my bro Lester

We've been friends so long that we're like brothers liao
Plus both our surnames are Tay :D

So,chit-chatted with him for some time before i headed off for soccer with my class guys
Havent played soccer with Lester for a long long long long time

Cheng Hui grilfriend tagged along and was playing against my team
I had to resist the invitation to score
Twice i wanted to volley but decided to tapped the ball instead

I'm not the control type one

There's just not enough space to run in a street soccer court

Holiday

My holiday started about a week ago for me
I'm putting all my energy into playing
In this short week I've been to 2 LAN sessions and 2 soccer trainings
Played more dota matches than in the past 3++ months since school started

Holiday...that means I can do a lot of things
Soccer
Photo expedition
Read books
Complete my anime drawings
Playing with the keyboard
Watch movies
AND SLACK

Wanted to study but couldnt get the drive to do it
Struck in holiday mode
I want to study with friends from other JC so i can re-visit the past chapters and learned so new ones in the process
So sad...got exam after holiday
I can play ttm without feeling guilty for not studying

This one month,i want to clear all my problems,hopefully
Sometimes,when i looked at my life,I'm pretty happy with it
I dont have to worry about survival,I have friends and family that cares and can have fun with
However,when I think harder and deeper,I find lots of problems
As I try to improve myself,I feel that I'm missing some things in my life
There could be more to my life,more to myself
These little problems add up,making me realise how much i need to do and improve
Problems with taking initiative,being more responsible and relationships with people
Change...i want to change
I want to be a more filial son,a more dependable friend and a more responsible leader

The real test will be the next term
It will be the busiest period of school
Overview:
-Youth Olympics
I dont know how much we would be involved but it will definitely take up a large portion of school life
-Lots of school events(College dance,Principal rally and more...)
Nights will be spent in school providing technical assistance for the event
Lessons may be affected and I'll need to play catch-up

EOM and WR...need I say more

Term 3 is going to zoom by and then it's the end of year
Then there's the promos to worry about and of course PW-OP

Went back to school in the morning for AVA training
Finally learned how to play with the LT5 sound system
Hmmm...i'm supposed to teach the others about backstage next week
Hope i can get everything right XD

It would be without any hand-ons pratice

Google toolbar

I opened my Internet Explorer and opened a new tab
I knew something was amiss
Why is it a blank page?
What happened to the 9 shortcuts for the most visited websites?

Restarted the com several times
Installed and un-installed the google toolbar several times
Changed the settings of the Internet Explorer and the add-ons
But nothing worked

Went to seek help from Google and realised the new tab function has been removed for Internet Explorer...:C
It was very weird using the internet without those 9 boxes and the bookmarks at the side

Decided to use FireFox instead
I guessed the switch's permanent since the new tab function's not going to return to IE
Why did they remove it?
Is it because of Google Chrome?

Adapting to FireFox now...
FireFox can apply theme,so cool
Using this nice Manchester United theme
Haha anything with Manchester United is nice to me :D

I want to change my blog skin soon
If you notice,when i post videos,the whole thing cannot be seen which is very irritating to me even though I wont be watching it via my blog

My current GP teacher and past maths relief teacher are friends
I think they know each other because of NUS soccer
Going to dig out info from them hehe

Facebook has made this world a small place
Many of my primary schoolmates are now friends with my secondary schoolmates
Sometimes,it amazes me how they got to know each other and how small the world really is

Been playing and going out a lot since Mid-year ended on Fri

You have to study during the holiday while i can play ttm without feeling guility that i didnt study for mid-year

Of course,holiday must study also

Having mid-year before the holiday isnt that good either.

I had like only one week to prepare when the teachers finally finish the syallibus

Overall,mid year was managable

I need to manage my time better though...

GP was the only paper that i managed to complete

Went to Tampines Central with Plato cause no one else was free

Played lots of Maximum Tune

Found the GTR Tomica car at Kiddy Palace and bought one for Zi Xuan

Remember me saying that i'll try to be exco for AVA some time back?
Didnt expect to be Vice-president though :D
I'm now a VP for a CCA that I did not choose for my CCA selection :P

Good thing is,there isnt many things to do for AVA
I think my job scope is just to allocate people for different events

Yes,I've been plotting to be an exco member from the start :P
Tips for exco-wanna-be:
1.Be VERY enthu,active participation-Let the teachers know you are interested
2.Make friends,be socieable-Your friends are going to be voting for you.It's also a way your members are going to listen to you when you in exco
3.Plot-plot to be an exco

That's what i did that got me the position :P

Realised i suddenly very enthu,taking up leadership positions ever since i got into JC
First is Chinese rep,now Vice-President.
I want to be Orientation leader next year...

I guess Aspire camp will increase my chances as a orientation leader since they're going to be teaching us leadership skills

Why is my Mid-year before the holiday???No time to study.
Many teachers just finished teaching topics for the Mid-year,where got time to study
Nvm,at least i can really enjoy my holiday

The last day that i'll be working on my PI

Looking back at my first few drafts...
My strategies then were like super AE(Approaching expectation)
Now at least can get high ME or EE ba

Dont know why i'm typing my blog post when my PI is 95% completed/modified
My brain died some time ago...cant think now

Didnt do any homework
Started on my PI the minute i got home
I'm going to 'attitude' at the teachers for not doing homework
Honestly,PW is more important
You can always catch up for the other subjects,unlike PW,once it's gone,it's gone.
I want an A for PW
Dr Choe is a great teacher,75 out of 80 students getting A
That means a lot
And the 80.8% A means something as well

So many things to do,so little time
Mid-year revision,PW,homework
The teachers are still teaching+homework,how will we have time for revision?

I dont know how much i will get for Mid-year,i cant even estimate
30 points sounds pathetic,but that's seems to be a norm for JC exam first-timers
I dont know what to expect,just have to give in my best shot

After finishing the PI,i 'll transform into study mode for the Mid-year.
I seem to be the only one that has Mid-year before the holidays T_T
