Havent had a match in a long time since there was this sudden craze last year.Was looking forward to the 401 vs 405 match but it didnt happen...
Back to soccer today...found a new field at Serangoon.It's not as barren as the field beside Punggol CC but there's lumps of soil on the field.The field's pretty close to the roads...WEEEEE,BOOM,Ball burst.Didnt happen today
Tried playing as a Left-back today.I have to admit that you get a sense of accomplishment when you cleared the ball upfront or tackle your opponent.I prefer intercepting passes instead of going into a 50-50 challenge.
Difference between playing as a striker and a defender
Striker:
-When you score,it's like for personal glory
-Don't really feel like defending
-Less thinking involved
Defender:
-You defend for the team
-Wants to join the attack in any way possible
-Play tactically(positioning,offside trap,etc)

SRJC,AVA...two places i dont want to be in.No choice,i've got to accept it.Happy or sad,you'll still have to get through the day.Might as well have a good day and live with joy.So now i should try to "strive for excellence" and use that "power to be the best that i can be".
Think i can and will try to own the people in my class and school.After getting owned for two years,it's time to own some people.I'll have to study and study,i want to own.I want my Edusave awards!For CCA,there's no way to be the best...like there's any sort of competition for AVA.Might try to be in the committee so that i'll have a nice testimonial next time.I guess i can get some help from Arnold.
Went to the Royal Sporting House warehouse sale.Was supposed to get myself a pair of running shoes but instead i got another wife(a very chio one).Bought another pair of soccer shoes,not boots.T90 Laser II again.I seem to like the design of the Laser II a lot since i now own 3 pairs of T90 Laser II.I've been eyeing this one for a very long time already,the sliver colour one.Finally got it and at a discounted price :D Still haven got my running shoes...3 soccer shoes,0 running shoes.Running shoes are ugly compared to soccer shoes xP
Soccer tomorrow...today's match was cancelled.I hope we dont end up playing at the street soccer court again.I want to play field soccer.Join my team-Real Sengkang!!!It's on Facebook!
Just changed my display picture...first time the display picture only has me in it,feels abit weird looking at myself,a bit egoist like that.At least you can see my face in the small boxes on the home page(last time can only see Nad,Plato and Zi Xuan).Scare my new friends cannot recognise me

Sian...
Guess i'm struck in AVA after the Guitar ic rejected my appeal yesterday.
Let's look at the positives:
-Once a week,2 hours
-CCA on Wed,Fri can relax after school
-No competition
-Get to stay in air-con room when on duty for morning assembly
That's about all.Getting people to join AVA so that it's more fun for me
PE in JC is really hiong.A minimum run of 2 km every lesson and pull-up pratice.Got back my form yesterday when i managed 3 pull-ups,short of my personal maximum of 7 during the rock-climbing training.Couldn't do any on the first PE lesson though.
I urgently need to get myself a good pair of running shoes.Been lots of running lately.Wore sneakers(totally forgot need wear sports shoes)for yesterday's PE and ran 2 km.It didnt provide much cushioning and now my knees are suffering.Ran the last round around the track sorely on willpower :D Can do better next time
School's pretty fun,for now...wait till the tests come.Think i'm slowly running out of gas.Not mugging as hard as i did during the first two weeks of school.
Soccer tomorrow :D My leg's being a little itchy lately.Everytime i'm near the field,i will be hoping that a ball comes in my direction so i could 'pump' it back.
With dreams,comes disappointment...Time to own

-Failed the trials,i'll be lucky to get in
-No need to buy anything,got my boots already
-Soccer!My favourite sport
Worst case scenario:Photography Society
-After that session,i did not want to go back again,seriously
I want get into guitar!PLEASE!PLEASE!
Even fate's helping me...the cost of the guitar package is $217.I earned $217.50 marking chinese papers during the holidays.So heng one meh...so i worked during the holidays to get myself a guitar?Not bad though.Just realised i havent bought anything with that money.
Monday,i think i will start to hate Mondays because lesson ends earliest at 5.30pm :C PE lesson is the last period leh,go home sure die one.

I Still Have A Life
Went for a swim in the morning with Lester,Kai Yuan,Wesley and Mattheus
Been awhile since i've been in the water.We were doing stupid things in the pool...things like cheering,sit ups against the side of the pool,push ups in the pool and dancing to "sorry sorry".It was fun though.
Went for lunch at KFC at Compass Point.Joined by Jun Hao and Wei Ming.Chit-chatted a little about school by going home.
I started the "Happy Birthday" thingy because today's the 7th day of Lunar New Year-"人日".My birthday,your birthday and everyone's birthday...
Created a Real Sengkang FC facebook group after Lester said he wanted to form a club.Who want join?I the manager AKA manyzer.Soccer games on every public and school holidays.Long time never kick ball,leg itchy.
Got lots of work to do this weekend and i have to finish my chinese powerpoint too.I still havent finish reading my books...Oh ya,i need to select my CCA online by this weekend too.Hopefully i will get into guitar,photography go away,lol.

TGIF!
Weekend is finally here!
After a week of lesson proper,the weekend means a lot to me now.
Going to school isnt just study study study,there's a mixture of fun too.My study group will chit-chat and joke around during the afternoon studying session.Life isnt that boring because of this group of friends.
I quite like this class,made up people with different characters.I like 1s07 and i miss 401.There were many problems with 401 maybe because of the large number and the lack of communication and understanding between one other.When we stepped into 301,there wasnt orientation to bond the class,maybe that's why.Well,it's all in the past.
Went for photography...after the session,i didnt feel like joining anymore.I expected to be able to grab a camera and go outside to just shoot pictures and be taught some photography skills.No...we learnt how to set up a tripod...One guy assembles the tripod and the other guy has to dis-assemble it.That was all.Compared to the guitar,i didnt learn anything.
Still dont know which one to join but i'm moving towards the guitar side.Cant wait to master the chords and play songs that i liked :D Guess photography i can learn on my own...
Fate is knocking on my door again,just like what happened last time.I didnt grab it then...it's still a little weak though

Double reunion
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR AND VALENTINES DAY!!!
Great!This is going to be a really really long post after the exciting events that happened in the past few days.
Friday-CNY celebration+XMS+401'09 gathering
CNY celebration at school was short,ended at 10.30.My class had to do CIP lo...bringing kids from the nearby kindergarten to perform at our school's concert.The children very cute...i'm just afraid of small kids that are running around and banging into me.After bringing the kids back,i headed for XMS...
XMS sure change a lot with all those bronze statures,not that i not already aware of that.I quickly exited the school when the fire alarm rang,i wasnt going to BBQ in the sun.Waited for a long long time outside school before we could enter again.It's great to be able to see friends and teachers again.Many thought i was going to poly because i was wearing home clothing...i'm not.Chit-chat with people before finding people for outing.
Went for bowling at Kovan.Played 2 rounds,second round my hand abit pain liao.After bowling,we packed dinner and ate at Kovan Melody.Chit-chat about school,demostrating the different school's dance,played cards and truth or dare.It was fun,hope there will be more gatherings like these.
Saturday-Chinese New Year's Eve
Went to my grandparent's house early in the morning to help prepare the food,not me though.I was studying,trying to get my work done so i can enjoy the holidays.Till now,i haven finish my homework yet.Just played for the rest of the day,reunion dinner and taking hongbao and stuff.Stayed over for the night to watch soccer matches.FA cup matches,though not that exciting but it's always nice to watch soccer without it being laggy or the screen freezing after sometime.After the matches,my cousin and i were watching anime,a fresh new experience watching anime late into the night.Really is late,around 3++.You just keep on watching and watching until your eyelids become too heavy and the Zzz monster eventually takes over you.
Sunday-Chinese New Year
Woke up in the morning because of a phone call.It was around 10+.I didnt want to continue sleeping,i wanted to study.Had too much fun today.Went through my tutorials and lectures.Took the opportunity to ask my cousins for assistance.No cards,no mahjong...sian.Went home in the evening,miss my bed,pillow,computer,radio,soccer ball and my pikachu.
This year,i will be visiting people during the New Year selectively.I'm not going to my parents' friends house.Totally nothing to do lo,Just say there and smile.Answering some questions and stuff.I rather not be there...

CNY celebration at school was short,ended at 10.30.My class had to do CIP lo...bringing kids from the nearby kindergarten to perform at our school's concert.The children very cute...i'm just afraid of small kids that are running around and banging into me.After bringing the kids back,i headed for XMS...
XMS sure change a lot with all those bronze statures,not that i not already aware of that.I quickly exited the school when the fire alarm rang,i wasnt going to BBQ in the sun.Waited for a long long time outside school before we could enter again.It's great to be able to see friends and teachers again.Many thought i was going to poly because i was wearing home clothing...i'm not.Chit-chat with people before finding people for outing.
Went for bowling at Kovan.Played 2 rounds,second round my hand abit pain liao.After bowling,we packed dinner and ate at Kovan Melody.Chit-chat about school,demostrating the different school's dance,played cards and truth or dare.It was fun,hope there will be more gatherings like these.
Saturday-Chinese New Year's Eve
Went to my grandparent's house early in the morning to help prepare the food,not me though.I was studying,trying to get my work done so i can enjoy the holidays.Till now,i haven finish my homework yet.Just played for the rest of the day,reunion dinner and taking hongbao and stuff.Stayed over for the night to watch soccer matches.FA cup matches,though not that exciting but it's always nice to watch soccer without it being laggy or the screen freezing after sometime.After the matches,my cousin and i were watching anime,a fresh new experience watching anime late into the night.Really is late,around 3++.You just keep on watching and watching until your eyelids become too heavy and the Zzz monster eventually takes over you.
Sunday-Chinese New Year
Woke up in the morning because of a phone call.It was around 10+.I didnt want to continue sleeping,i wanted to study.Had too much fun today.Went through my tutorials and lectures.Took the opportunity to ask my cousins for assistance.No cards,no mahjong...sian.Went home in the evening,miss my bed,pillow,computer,radio,soccer ball and my pikachu.
This year,i will be visiting people during the New Year selectively.I'm not going to my parents' friends house.Totally nothing to do lo,Just say there and smile.Answering some questions and stuff.I rather not be there...

There's this large hole in my chest now.Hit by two forces of simliar magnitude...pretty similar.I thought it was over but i was wrong.Wishful thinking...
Going back to XMS tomorrow after the CNY celebration.Not for the school or the teachers but for the friends and memories.My life wouldnt have been this colourful without them.I wish for a great reunion.that's all i want...
Heading into tomorrow with a mix of anxiety,happiness and unwillingness.Havent seen many people for a long time.With seperation does one start to miss the people and treasure the reunion.

Study study study
First time i actually like studying.So long never touch books liao,finally got some work to do.
My life is more meaningful and fulfilling now that i have something to do instead of staring at the walls the whole day.Something to keep me busy now.Due to the busy schedule,i realised i don't have time to read my story books... :C
Being busy is good,keeps my mind occupied.Ensures that i do not have time to think about other things...Feel like a mugger...
Decided to find a 'slack-er' cca so i have the time and energy to study.Not going to join the rockclimbing.3 times a week...one training seesion is already killing me and at that time lessons haven't started.I'll probably be too tired to do my homework when i go home.Either photography or guitar.I want learn how to play guitar then i can play songs :D
I can resist the computer when i'm studying :D Good sign.Instead of using the computer,i go onto Facebook via my PSP.Due to its limited accessibilty,i cant do much on Facebook while on my PSP.Just to check status,profiles and responding to friend requests.Like when did Facebook change its display...so weird lo
Had a fire drill today.Was trying to create some chaos and panic by saying 'panic' along the way to the field.Of course,nothing happened.The whole school was gathered at the football field and after some briefing they decided to play the song "Lollipop" by Mika.The song for our college dance.They decided to use this chance to do mass dance...LOL
Overall,school's pretty fun till now.Busy it may be but the fun seems to take away all the tiredness.Life's getting better :D

Orientation
Basically,orientation days with the class is more fun than days with the OG.
Today was the last day of orientation and just like yesterday,it's games day again.
After our 8 games unbeaten streak yesterday,we decided to give the other classes some chances but we still won majority of our games today.
The picnic was the highlight for today and the orientation.So everyone brought foods and drinks.The drinks were cleared really quickly while the food we brought were hardly touched.A few of us went to play Re-capture the flag(there was a capture the flag before this)...we only manage to draw against Draco.Cetus' no longer dominated as the winner for orientation was Pegasus.AQUILA WAS SECOND!!! :D...expected first though
S07!!!(my hair looks really sucky lo><)
S07-a class dominated by boys(it's worse than 401) A hyper,friendly,funny and united class.That's for now,only time will tell.Comparisons will definitely be made...
From Selatar(Green) to Jaguar(Yellow) to Aquila(Yellow again...) Aquila's cheers were definitely more fun than the other two...no more 'north south east west' or 'who we are...where we come from'.My class even came up with our own Aquila cheer in Chinese,Tamil and Malay.
Feeling very high now!

The most fun day since orientation started
Today's activities were really fun.This post is going to be divided into many parts,the different activities i went through today.
Mass Dance lifted my spirits while rockclimbing training took the life out of me...
1.Mass Dance
I finally understand why people find mass dance to be of so much fun.Mass dance,it's when people who are talented in dancing and those who cant dance dancing together.It doesnt feel so bad when you cant really dance.And,there's this 'aura' that makes you just want to dance with the rest of the people and just enjoy the dance.There's some bit of couple dance in the mass dance :) Can hold the girl's hands and dance with her...held the hands of two different girls from the two dance seesions :D Hehe...and i very heng got those more chio girls :P
2.Rockcliming training
Well,it wasnt fun but at least it's involves me being more active.Their training is super fierce lo and at the de-briefing,they said it's just basic training...I already want to die liao lo.I tell you one of the toughest session of the training.
21 pull-ups(you can do in as many sets as possible)
Hang on the bar for one minute(3 sets)
25 pull-ups immediately(3 sets)
Hang on the bar for 30 seconds(hand-lock position...where the arm has to form a right angle)(2 sets)
25 push-ups again(2 sets)
This was after a round around the school and tons of PT training.The most number of push-up i've done in a day...my record before was about 100+ only...today i did around 200
Luckily,the training focuses mainly on training the arms and not the legs.If not,tomorrow my soccer trial sure die one.After this hellish training,i want to get into soccer!Kick ball tomorrow!HOORAY!Manchester United owns Arsenal 3-1!As expected,my principal was talking about the Manchester United win during morning assembly...i knew it(pls refer to Faceboook)
Results of subject combination was out today.
PMCE!!!H1 econs...Anyone?
Tomorrow i will know the people in my class...i hope this class is more fun and out-going.
My class-S07.YES!7 is my favourite number!Many reasons...David Villa-7 in Valencia.Eric Cantona,David Beckham,Cristiano Ronaldo all number 7 at Manchester United :D
