First day of work...

For those who dont know,i am marking chinese papers at a school in Serangoon.5 dollars an hour and 8 hours a day with one hour lunch break.

The train was packed with people rushing for work...i was one of them too.Looking at the tired and listless faces,i felt that adult life is boring.No one talked in the train except for the boy next to me.They were all hiding behind their newspaper or listening to their music.ADULT LIFE SUCKS!I was listening to my music while thinking of how to write this blog(I'm serious!)

A total of 10 people was working.Among the group was me,Wei Ting,Zi Xuan,Yu Xin,NJL and Wei Ting's friends

First day of work...
Our task was to check the index numbers on the OAS to see if its correct.That took us the whole day and we still have more schools to check tomorrow.There's this school that created a lot of problems for us beacuse the students ANYHOW GO WRITE THE INDEX NUMBER!!!LIKE SOME PURELY RANDOM NUNBERS AND WE HAVE TO ERASE THE NUMBER AWAY FOR HUNDRED OF THOSE OAS SHEETS!So,NJL suggested a competition...LOL.See who can erase all the numbers away first.In the end,she won...Luckily for us,the other schools were more 'disciplined' beacuse they just left the munbers blank,so at least we dont have to erase the numbers away.This went on until 6.30 and thats the time we are done with work.Zi Xuan got very high midway throught the afternoon and started screaming...hahaha.At least it bought some life into the room.Went home at the exact time the clock strike 6.30.

Day 1...it wasnt tiring but it sure was troublesome erasing the index numbers and finding the correct index number.I'm sure the marking process will be an enjoyable one with all the funny answers.HAHA.

Havent post in a very long time...its probably because i have been working on my Mitsubishi Evo V model kit.Currently painting the model because all the parts are WHITE!!!The parts of the Evo V are all white as compared to the parts of the RX-7 consisting of several colours.Will post some photos when i'm done with the Evo V.

AHHHHH!!!I got work on Monday...9.30am
If i watch how i wake up,even if i do i probably wont have energy to mark those thick stack of Chinese papers(well,ya,thats my job,marking chinese papers for those who dont know).
Was looking forward to the Barcelona v Real Madrid match...hope Real Madrid wins!!!
Dont know what happen to me...this season i like Ronaldo instead of Messi,it was the other way round the previous season.

This is the life!

Today went to Kovan Melody for Aaron's swimming lesson.Zi Xuan and Liang Xing were there too.We were relaxing and chatting in the jacuuzi...very shoik leh.Aaron and Liang Xing continued swimming while Zi Xuan and i were on land,sitting down and reading our books.Unlike Zi Xuan,i didnt want to get a tan so i moved into the shady area.Swim awhile more and then we went for lunch.Reading a book while the wind is blowing at you is just refreshing...makes me feel like retirement,nothing to worry about.

Ha!Went to fly kite with Zi Xuan at Archorvale.It's the first time for both of us...needed lots of assistance from a friendly uncle flying kite near us.We were doing pretty well for first-timers until the kite flew too high and far and used up all the string.The string untie itelf from the roll and we had to tie it again...thats when we couldnt get the kite up in the air again.We packed up after several failed attempts.

Too bad i didnt bring my camera there,then can take lots of pictures...

Looking up,many kites filled the blue clear sky.I felt relaxed just looking at the kites dancing in the wind.All my troubles seem so far away...flying kite..i will definitely give it another try.You should try it too...

Meeting Mr Chan tomorrow...really looking forward to meeting him again.Must take photos with him!

Life

Teenager life isnt that fun and care-free.You start getting more and more responsibilities in life,having to make lots of decisions and wise judgements.I foresee more things coming for me,hoping i dont crumble under the pressure.With each passing days,things get closer to the due date.You panicked when you couldnt complete a task on time.Looking at the kids playing in the field,how i wish i could go back to that care-free life when everything was fun,fun and fun.Minimum responsibilities.Less emotional meltdowns...when you're sad,just take a moment to think about the happy times in your life.To be alone,to reflect on things you have done.Life is short,treasure every second with your loved ones...

I was with my friends but i was also somewhere far away...The water was constantly hitting against our backs but i didnt care.I was enjoying the moment and many thoughts went through my mind.The new directions in life,i wonder.I began to drift away until their voices brought me back to reality.

I joined them in the jacuzzi...chatted and joked around.I always like to be with my friends,talking about old times we shared together.I moved to the corner of the jacuzzi,away from them.I was alone,but not exactly alone.I was just by myself,i wasnt lonely.I chose to be alone,i wasnt left out or exiled by the rest.Reflected on many things i have done...many regrets though.They looked over and i looked back.I smiled but no words were exchanged.No point regretting..looking forward to the future,i joined my gang,treasuring every moment spent with them.

No plans for today so i'm blogging now
Wanted to organise soccer this afternoon but then realised all my soccer kaki were either busy or unavailable.Wesley and Kai Yuan are both working...Lester probably having fun in Taiwan and Daniel,he should be in Malaysia.So no more soccer today.

Currently no more plans for the rest of the week...
Next week plans were all not confirmed yet
Tuesday...teaching Aaron how to swim again
Some other day...meeting Mr Chan since the last time we met during Teachers' Day.I think Mr Chan is a great teacher,he's my favourite teacher in Xinmin even though he's not there anymore.He was my CCA teacher but never taught me before.He prefers socialising with his students than his collegues.He said he cannot talk crap to his students anymore cause all his students are now girls...lol
Friday...Soccer with Mr Ng(tution teacher) as he had promised.Xinmin will win the other schools with our large pool of talented players.Bryan,Wesley,Nicholas Khaw,Gordon and of course,me :D.My legs are itchy,cant wait to kick soccer.

To prevent myself from rotting at house,i'm doing some activities that i dont have the time to do during school.

1.Drawing...i'm not very good at drawing but copying a picture,i am very good.Currently working on Tsuna from Katekyo Hitman Reborn.The flames on his head very difficult to draw...hard to get that effect...

2.Learning the keyboard...but i need to find the AC adapter first.First song to learn,21 guns by Green Day.

3.Reading books(not storybooks)...thought of reading ahead.Borrowed 2 Bio A level books from my cousin.Each book is twice the size of our current Bio textbook,u can imagine 2 of these books.Next will be Chem,dont feel like reading Physics though.

Post Grad Night

WOW!!!Grad Night was fun!Cant stop laughing throughout the night.The ballroom was quite posh...Wasnt really full from the dinner,still got some space in my stomach.Overall,the food was pretty tasty.When the first dish came,i saw SUSHI!!!Phobia sia after the previous two accidents eating sushi.Everytime i eat sushi,i will vomit...sianz la.Love sushi in the past..this love for sushi seem to have been vomitted out from all that vomitting.

Game time...sianz la.Damn sway lo,tio chosen BECAUSE the SL put the string beside my place...Lame game sianz.Me and Alvin had to tie a high heel shoe,ez link card,spoon and 2 rings.I was the only one at the table with a ring...so our table did not win the game.LOL...lame game.

The MC really know how to get the crowd going.Moreover,he's Mrs Kuck's brother...the Wondergirl dance that he did was really funny and entertaining.Took a video of it.Trying to upload it here or on Facebook.Prom King was Xavier...wow..unexpected sia.Thought Randolph would have won the Prom King.The MC made the nominees do the Wondergirl dance and did a catwalk...haha.Couldnt stop laughing.

After everything it was time to PARTY!!!Went around to take photos with many people.Couldnt recognise most of the girls with their make up on.Some girls look scarier with make up on...Yes!Manage to get the 401 people together to take class photo...

Grad Night...probably the last time i see many of my schoolmates.For my closer friends,i should be seeing you again.Remember me even if we all go to different schools and stay in contact.Hooray for our friendship!

Day 5

Fifth consecutive day i went out...
Taught Aaron swimming at Kovan Melody...
Damn it!Was supposed to meet Lester at Compass Point at 9.30
Guess what time i woke up...9.35!
My phone alarm rang at 8.30...was too tired to get out of bed so i cotinued sleeping
Woke up again at 9.00 then 9.14 and then at 9.35!Super late!
I brushed my teeth,got changed and rushed off to Compass Point
Apologized to Lester for being so late...

Reached Kovan and we began swimming while Aaron wait for Daniel to arrive
Aaron seems to know how to swim,he knows the stroke but cannot execute it properly
He was doing the Frog style but he wasnt moving much so we had to teach him the leg movement and the hand movement
He was doing pretty well and he can swim but only for short distances
He's like some swimming prodigy...learn very fast(maybe cause he is buoyant)

Then the four of us went to the slide
Slide FAIL!!!
Not enough gradient...not enough GPE,cant slide down
Aaron and i were struck on the slide until Lester went down the slide
Lots of GPE for him cause the mass is larger(Physics...lol)
Walao then he knocked into me and we accelerated towards the poor Aaron at the bottom of the slide

Afterwards,the four of us went to the jacuuzi
The water was warm...damn
It was fine after a while and then we talked crap about school,grad night,Abey and sucky CCA
Is damn shiok when you occasionally get out of the water...got this cool feeling coming from inside you(wa mysterious aura)
We then went to eat at Macdonalds and went home

Not long after,Lester,Kai Yuan and i went to the soccer field beside Punggol CC
We were playing the crossbar challenge-Hit the crossball while kicking from the same spot about 12 metres(?) away
:) I was the only one to succeed...so they owe me a Big Gulp..Hehe!

We then played a match with the other people who were at the court as well
6v6...Total ownage over the other team!
Their team comsists of boys of average age of 13
My team consists of the 3 16 year old-us,2 guys in their 20s n a guy in his 40
Final Score: 4:0!
HAHAHA!!!
Scored two and assisted one!Fail to score a Hattrick again...second time liao :(
Born to be a striker!!!
It's the best team i have played in
The midfield and defence is very reliable,very good at taking possession of the ball
One of them even told to stay up front...wow
The other team couldnt even run pass the one-man defence
The field is so big yet they couldnt penetrate our defence,showing a lack in depth...and you know what?
Kai Yuan was the keeper and he didnt even have to save anything during the match
They couldnt even take a shot at goal
Ok...i know,talk too much about soccer again

Then it started raining...no,pouring
So we were to the Punggol CC for shelter
Then the three of us talked lots of crap and then went home

O level is finally over!!!
But don't have the feeling leh...many ppl also no feeling
Currently feeling a bit hollow..like nothing to do or though there's lots of things i could be doing
My weekend schedule was packed even before the o level ended
Haven really got time to post since the o level ended

Went to Zi Xuan's house straight after the final chemistry paper to play Forza 3
Is damn shiok with the steering wheel,very professional
But i the driver not very professional...
Zi Xuan's room is super nice,got plasma tv
Played Forza for a few hours then went home
It was very easy for me to get home from his house,i only need to take 945 bus...direct bus somemore,hehe.
I got home,changed and went out to buy clothes for grad night...cant wait for next wednesday
Met up with Wesley before going to Bugis to shop
We were playing FIFA 09 on our way to Bugis
At Bugis,we met up with Royce and went to Bugis Street and Iluma to shop
There was a downpour outside and i nearly fell on several occasions because i was wearing slippers...heng ah never fall down
Only i manage to buy a pair of jeans at Iluma,the others couldnt find clothes they wanted
So we went to Orchard to find the rest of the gang while Royce went home
The gang consists of me,Wesley,Lester,Kai Yuan,You Liang and Mattheus
We went to many more places for the night
We went to Takashimaya,then Wisma,then Novena Square and finally AMK Hub
Our gang was fooling around the whole time
At Novena Square,i was tempted to buy a pair of soccer boots
Soccer boots is something that will make me go crazy...even though i got a pair i may buy if it is very very super duper nice
Saw a pair of Adidas F10...$18!!!Where can you find soccer boots this cheap..ahhhhhhh
In the end,i didnt buy...resilience
No one bought any clothing until we reached AMK Hub
Wesley and Lester both bought a shirt at Spade
Everyone went on their seperate paths and by the time i reached home it was already 10 plus coming to 11
Damn tired after shopping...at least i bought all my stuff already
Maybe i still need a pair of shoes
Wonder how everyone will look like during grad night
I hope the girls dont look scary because of their heavy makeup...scary

Secondary school life is over...time to part but we will definitely unite and see one another again
