Whole new year and i already feel like a whole new ME...

For this year,i'm going to blog about every event that happen so that i can check again next time if i want to.

#1 of 2010

Well,i wasnt expecting to go out today...was reading the newspaper and saw this advertisement about sports wear on discount at Suntec.Wanted to get a pair of street soccer shoe as my white T90 is ripping apart soon.Sian...no soccer shoe there,only got sports shoe and there are not very nice,so i didnt buy anything.

My mum and dad then went to look at some Buddua relics...lol.Super long queue trying to enter the exhibition hall.Since the queue was so long and i wasnt really interested in these type of things,i "abandoned" my parents.Didnt know what to do at first,wanted to just walk away Suntec look look see see.i then decided to take photos of the War Memorial as it was only across the street.

When i stepped out of the underpass,i realised i was on the wrong side of the street.On my left was the War Memorial,on my right was the Singapore Flyer(not that near but i could see).So i decided to walk to the Singapore Flyer.

It's quite far from Suntec City but for me,i will walk to places about 2km from where i am.So there's how my journey to the Singapore Flyer started.

The Singapore Flyer is super duper gigantic,i felt so small standing under it.It should be a wonder in the world.I could never get a full view of it on my camera,unless you go to the Expressway nearby and take a picture.The view around the Singapore Flyer is breathtaking.A great sea view with the IR in the distance and the Singapore Flyer behind you.

I was standing on this road along the 'coastline' taking photos of the Singapore Flyer.Later did i realise that I WAS ACTUALLY ON THE F1 TRACK!If i was a F1 driver,i'm sure to be distracted by the Singapore Flyer,especially since its at night where the Singapore Flyer is lit up.The pit lane divider was still present.

After taking many photos,i went to emo by the 'coastline' for awhile.That was until i found a great view and took out my camera to take photos again.

I walked back to Suntec City to find my parents.Saw the floating platform on the way back.Wanted to go but thought i gave it a pass this time and come again another time when i have time to slowing take the all the photos i want.Further down was the Esplanade.Damn!I'll come next time and take photos.

Went to the Fountain of Wealth to take photos too.Went to walk around the fountain and made a wish.Hope it comes true...

Felt like a tourist today.Taking photos of all these tourist attractions.

Photo expedition #1 was quite a success,looking forward to #2.

Last post of 2009

This is probably the last post of 2009...Goodbye 2009 and welcome 2010!

2009...a year i dont know how to describe.Well,most of the year was given for preparations of the O levels.First half of the year seem to go by VERY SLOW...SLOWLY.Then after the June holidays,time flies and its the O levels.Still dont have the feeling that the O levels is over.

2009 was the year i transformed back to who i was during primary school and Sec1.A more sociable person,rather than being contented with hanging around with the same bunch of friends.Playing Yugioh cards probably made me a no-lifer and anti-social,lucky i broke out this year.The type of friends you hang out with is important too,hanging out with zombies makes you a zombie too.I jumped ship and joined the other gang in time.Wonder what was i doing last time?

2009,looked at people from different perspectives,the good and the ugly.From good friends to friends,from hardly noticed to cannot not notice.Dislike some people while hoping others do not dislike me for being who i am and for the people around me.

Saw the light at the end of the tunnel while those few are still struck inside the tunnel.Probably too stubborn to change,who cares,i dont live for them,i live for myself.Choosing my own path,not regretting abandoning a few of them,at least i feel happier now.A life with more purpose and unexpected things.Being more involved and included,i like who i am now,i like it,i like this change.

Some bad memories i want to erase from my brain but there are only left in the recycle bin,cannot be permanently erased from my hard disk.Restoring from my recycle bin old memories as i re-unite with my primary school friends.

2009,the year my secondary school life comes to an end.No more waking up at 6.00 every morning,leaving house before 6.40 and taking the 88 bus at 6.45.Scenes in school seem to be a part of my normal life,something i see everyday.But during the holiday,i feel like i'm missing something,beginning to miss the good old days.Miss the people.Miss the laughter.

Well,what i can do now is to look forward to life next year and enjoying the moments i can still spend with my friends before going to a new environment.

Learnt some things this year...
-How a person can be so irritating when you are viewing from the spectator stand
-How a person can make you do things you are usually reluctant to do
-How a person can make you do things you never knew you would do
-How ironic a person's word can be
-How sensitive girl can be
-How 'ASS' some people can be
-How i can be stunned by a single photo,not once but twice
-How i can be listening to music and working on my homework at the same time,without getting distracted
-How nosey some people are
-How love can drive many people crazy
-How dota can be boring after a while
-How a person can caused such changes to another person

Things that happen this year that means something to me
-Had a crush on a girl
-Manchester United winning the third EPL title in a row,TREBLE!!!
-Bought my first Manchester United Jersey
-Selling of Cristiano Ronaldo and the buying of Michael Owen
-Bought my two pairs of soccer boots,one with studs,one without studs
-Started watching Katekyo Hitman Reborn and like it even since
-Bought my first Reborn poster and the first poster in my life
-Went to the first graduation night at a hotel
-Made a Facebook account
-Found my primary school friends via Facebook
-Bought my first car model
-Started watching Initial D the anime
-Got my digital camera
-O levels
-Made new friends
-Working with friends during the holiday

That's about all...New Year resolutions?Never had any,but may be planning since i've got nothing to do at home.

'Add Friend on Facebook' day

Decided to add all my Primary School friends...spent my afternoon clicking people's name and adding friends.And then checking their friend list to see if i know anyone else and adding them too.If you go to my wall now,it's filled with messages from my old classmates and friends.Really happy to be 'united' again,at least i can contact them again.

For today,you should be seeing "Davis Tay Yong Jian is now friends with blah blah blah"many times.I hope more people accept when i wake up tomorrow.Many couldnt recognised me.In primary school,my hair was much shorter and if you had seen my ez link card,you will know that i was a member of the TAF club(a.k.a. FAT club).Many of my friends look very different themselves too.

Spent the day checking their profile,their pictures,see how their life been after primary school .

Busy preparing the class chalet as well...going pretty smoothly.Hope there isnt any major hiccups during the preparations.

Need some sleep now,after waking up early today for badminton...seriously need to re-string my racket.Constantly hitting the part where the string's broken,causing the shuttlecock to fly any-o-how or lacking the power during smash.

Friends for life!Memories always :)

POST #100,a milestone for my blog!

Went for badminton today,at Cheng San CC,AMK.Spent two hours playing badminton with Zi Xuan,Deshawn and Daniel.Amazingly,my racket can still be use,need re-stringing soon.Quite shiok today,a long time since i got this feeling playing badminton.It's more enjoyable rather than tiring.Went the Mos Burger to buy drinks and chit chat before going home.

The Fillet-O-Fish now is pathetically small.Only thing i like is the Monopoly(which is a thing of the past) and McFlurry(getting lesser too)

...Fish and Chicken are very hard to chew...Nothing there is really nice

Merry Christmas!

Christmas...it was never a special day for me as i dont celebrate Christmas.Never given or receive any gifts before.Just another ordinary day for me...

For this Western holiday,my family was doing some spring cleaning in preparation for the Chinese New Year.LOL.Cleared lots of those crappy children books from my cabinet.My bed was finally cleared off all the newspapers...like to keep the newspapers for a few days before putting them in the storeroom.Re-reading the newspapers,especially the sports section-SOCCER!I do not sleep with the newspapers..NONO.Well,my bed is a double layer one,i sleep on the lower level while the top level is filled with some newspapers,my wallet,tissue paper,torchlight and my handphone.Torchlight...you may ask,its for lumination during the night if i want to do anything.Finally,everything's gone.Havent been able to lay fully on the top level for like half a year...since the last massive clean up during the June holidays.

While cleaning up my room,i found lots of memories...in the forms of toys and books.Childhood memories...when i was still reading Bob the Builder and Thomas the Train Engine.When i was still playing Beyblade and Tamiya cars.I can still remember...but its time for change,transition.

POST #97

Remembered making this blog about a year ago...reaching the #100 post soon.Started blogging when i got my new com last year.

Another year is going to end...aiya,sad.Many celebrations during this time of the year.First will be Christmas,though i dont celebrate.Second will be the New Year...i dont celebrate it too.Want to do something on the last day of 2009,want to end it with a BANG!!!BOOMZ!People,any activities???

About one and a half month has passed since the o level ended,still dont have the feeling that its over.Not one bit...Surprisingly,i wasnt spending my life in front of the com playing games.Is life after o level like this...its pretty boring.

Wanted to study again cause i've nothing much to do at home...Remember that Biology book i was reading.After reading some pages of the book,i found out that there's lots of things i need to take time to comprehend the content...so better start studying now.(Got to read the Chem one too,since i'm more interested in it)Ironic...during school,i want to play.Now its the holidays and i want to study. XD

Normally at this time of the year there will be lots of rankings...blah blah blah of the year thingy...might start ranking some stuff myself too :D
Suggestions please???

Money

Did some reading today...

Finally finish The Celestial Zone 21 comic series...

Quoted from the comic,found it to be quite meaningful.It may be true but the sad thing is,in this society,no one can live without money :( And i havent got my pay yet...

Read through some of the pages of the GIANT A-level textbook for Biology...ALL WORDS...didnt want to start at first but after learning some new facts,i continued on.Chemistry and Biology seem to be super intertwined together.There were several chapters related to chemistry in the book.Currently reading the chapter-From molecules to cell.They even talk about radioisotepes and isotepes' half life...wow

The number increases yet again,this feeling...bitter sweet,like dark chocolate
